HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a Memorial Day choir concert in honor of all the veterans. I was able to shake the hands of men and women who have served, listened to their stories, prayed for the parents that lost their children or the children that lost their parents in battle, and prayed that every single person fighting makes it back home unharmed. This is what memorial day is about: remembering the soldiers who fought for our freedom. Keeping their memories alive. Showing our respect. I was given a toy soldier to place upon a grave for a fallen veteran to signify his bravery. That's why I ask every time you see this photo with the toy soldier, you take a moment of silence for all who served and those currently serving. Thank you, and have a blessed Memorial Day. *Please don't hesitate to share, let everyone know about this toy soldier tradition.*
